Mayor Michael Curley pulled out the stops in hosting a parade that drew hundreds as the 2022 New York State Division 1 Boys Hockey Champions went up Lafayette Avenue aboard fire trucks.

After speeches and awards handed out by Suffern Central School District Superintendent Dr, Erik Gundersen and Suffern Mayor Michael Curley, attendees were treated to a barbecue with members of the American Legion Post 859 manning the grills.

This marks Suffern’s third New York State Hockey title; the first was won in 1992 followed by a second victory in 2012.
