More than $1.5 Million in Healthy Snacks Continues to Donate to More than 500 Organizations in 15 States

NEW YORK (June, 6 2020) – GoGo squeeZ, the squeezable healthy snack in a pouch, is committed more than ever to its mission to help families be healthy and happy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through a unique partnership between Move for Hunger and GoGo squeeZ, together the two organizations have effectively shared close to 1.000,000 healthy snacks ,(with another 500,000 in process) across the U.S. to the frontlines of those affected most during the COVID-19 crisis. Both based in New York City, the organizations saw the immediate need to mobilize healthy food to healthcare workers and food pantries and immediately began coordinating supplies into some of the most affected areas in the U.S.

Utilizing GoGo squeeZ’s SqueeZ Squad, a group of 10 moms throughout the U.S. (including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, Tampa, and more) matching them with local moving companies working with Move for Hunger. Within days product generally allocated for free sampling was mobilized in geographically targeted areas by the moving companies to pick up pouches in storage inventory and dropped off to local hospitals, food pantries and organizations working to feed Americans.

To assist the efforts of GoGo squeeZ, additional organizations in New York, including WeRok (Valley Cottage, an Amazon store), LA MONK Provisions (a craft cocktail manufacturer) and Atlanta Gate Group (an airline food packaging company) have graciously offered to provide storage space to help facilitate product drops.

It takes a village and the SqueeZ Squad has managed to incorporate all of their favorite chiefs and mama bears to execute this heartfelt project. The team, who normally handles events and sampling, like many other companies, flipped their vision to help out all of those in need. Instead of PTA events and community field day activations, they have stabilized their internal networks and created these vast giving communities in support of all of our first responders who are in need.

During the last ten weeks, In just the New York-metro area, drops have been made to 120+ organizations including police and fire departments, hospitals, school districts, food pantries including: Montefiore Health Network, Mount Sinai Hospitals, NYHH, NY Presbyterian Hospitals and more. Specifically in Rockland County – Good Samaritan Hospital, Nyack Hospital and WCM Health Network, Tallman PD, Suffern PD, Suffern FD, Suffern Central SD, Sloatsburg Pantry & People to People. In Westchester -New Rochelle, MT Vernon and Pelham School Districts, White Plains Youth Bureau and National Guard units in New Rochelle have all received GoGo squeeZ pouches.
“The entire team at GoGo squeeZ and Move for Hunger, is thankful to be part of this movement,” said Kelly Miller, Suffern, NY resident and SqueeZ Squad team member, who has helped to coordinate the drops. “With so many food banks across the nation in dire need right now for supplies and food, we will continue to do our part to give,” she said.
