82% of Confirmed Measles Cases have NOT had a Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR) shot!
There are now 146 confirmed cases of measles within Rockland County as well as2 suspected cases that the Rockland County Department of Health is continuing to investigate. These confirmed cases are the total since the outbreak began in October and are not all active cases.
Vaccination rates for confirmed measles cases in Rockland County:
- 82.1% have had 0 MMRs
- 3.4% have had 1 MMR
- 4.1% have had 2 MMRs
- 10.3% unknown status
Age groups for the confirmed measles cases in Rockland County
- Less than 1 year old: 15.2%
- 1-3 years: 22.1%
- 4-18 years: 46.9%
- 19+ years: 15.9%
